CV Claire Beaudouin

Claire Beaudouin began singing opera at the age of 14 and attended the Bordeaux Conservatory. She perfected her technique at the Schola Cantorum in Paris with Jacqueline Bonnardot, with Madame Montserrat Caballé and at the opera studio in London. 
She has won numerous competitions since 2009: Friends of the Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux, second prize at the Italian Opera in Sète in 2011, first prize at the international operetta competition in Marseille in 2012 and Prix Messager at the UPMCF in Paris with cantor Elizabeth Vidal on the jury. 2013 she is a semi-finalist at ‘Opéra en Arles’. 2014 three prizes at ‘Léopold Bellan’ in Paris, then semi-finalist at TIM in Paris and first prize at ‘Les clés d’or’ in Paris. 2015 prizewinner at ‘Les Saisons de la voix’ in Gordes with pianist Jeff Cohen, 2016 semi-finalist at the international competition in Mâcon and audience award in Vivonne.
Since 2015, she has been a member of the Bordeaux Opera Chorus under the direction of maestro Salvatore Caputo. In addition to her solo career, she has been a choral conductor and singing teacher for 12 years, founding her own public school.
