Thomas Julienne is a double bass player, composer and arranger who is constantly pushing the boundaries of music. He was trained by French masters of the double bass such as Jean-Paul Macé, Kent Carter, Gilles Naturel and Jean-Philippe Viret and developed his skills in orchestration and arrangement with Christophe Dal Sasso and Carine Bonnefoy, who are experts in this field.
In addition to his work with ‘Theorem of Joy’, he composes ‘Dysnomia Live’, the music for the photo concert with Alexandre Dupeyron. He directs the Orchid Big Band and composes for this large ensemble of 19 musicians. He collaborates with DJ Click for projects commissioned by RFI International (ScienceFiction, Sudan and soon Laos). With the ‘Claude Trio’ and Sophie Bataille, he creates ‘Le Voyage de Claude’, a drawn concert for a young audience.
